Sweden Communist Party Contributed to the funding of "Educational and Health support centre for slow and weak learners" project in the Middle area of Gaza Strip
The Sweden Communist Party represented with Mr. Erick Anderson the internationally secretary of the party, contributed to secure all the needed financial resources for very argent and priority project.
About 250 children from the very poor category on the Middle area of Gaza Strip mails & females from 6 to 14 years old, all of them are slow learners & weak students who get under 40% as academic level, benefited from the project , that beside the ones who restudy the same school class more than one time. Also the project benefit the students who suffer from weak body which effected their integrating with the normal ones like(very short students, who have difficult on seeing & hearing….extra) & the ones who leave the school for along time (1-3 years) & they want to complete now before being literacy.
Also the project employ 15 university graduators from educational & health specialization. Those very poor, unemployment's graduators who suffer from lack of work chances now they work on the project as permanent & part time staff.
So far by using the fund, Hanan for Culture and social development association in the Middle area " Nuseirat Camp" had established an Educational & health support centre for slow & weak learners, from the age of 6 -14 years, this centre completely equipped by the updated untraditional technology learning means & methods of the formal education serve the middle area as whole.
The centre specialized on the following 4 units:
1- Educational unit which responsible on Preparing the not traditional educational methods, delivery ways & scientific materials for slow & weak learners (who suffering from brain &body weakness prevent them from understand & follow with a regular way.
2- Health support unit which responsible on following up the children & solve the body & mentally reasons which effected their learning understanding.
3- Teachers & service providers training & orientation unite which responsible on building the capacity of the potential teachers & service providers for the centre & other related institution on the relevant area.
4- Outreach unit which responsible on implementing awareness activities helping the parents on dealing with their children in order to complete the role of the centre to reach positive achievements on short time.
So far the children with their families and the staff are so glad and satisfy the activities of the project and there is some successful indicators and successful stories from the project.
